Today is the last day of January 2011. In less than 11 hours we are welcoming February the 1st. I've always felt strange especially when CNY falls during this month. Perhaps it's the not-so-pleasant experiences I'd had when I was small. Gosh, how they still haunt me! This month boasts 3 major celebrations - the Federal Territory Day, Chinese New year & Valentine's Day. Coincidentally,our homeschool resumes on the 14th. Sigh, I should have planned for it to start on the 15th. Well, too late to change or else parents will definitely see red again.
I carried the D90 with me the whole day shopping at One U & Midvalley just to test my endurance with its weight. I've got to admit the fact that it's HEAVY! I wonder how photographers get used to cuddling their cameras, lenses, tripods, flash lights, etc, etc, etc with them all the time. Maybe it's their enthusiasm & passion. Am I not as enthusiastic or passionate enough? If so, I would be very happy to give it away.
I'm not biased but the D90 is really a great piece of equipment as even a complete beginner could shoot like a pro with it. As I've said, 'You simply shoot and the photo's still good'. It's true, this awesome camera just does everything for you! However, I still need some time to get used to carrying it round my neck & the stares of people's inquisitive eyes. Hmmm, since when I'm so bothered by this, so NOT me. Later I'm going to put up some of the shots I've shot.
